$15,000 for an Xbox 360?!

And here I thought this was bad. It’s nothing compared to this! A winning bidder on eBay is willing to pay a whopping $15,099.00 for a new Xbox 360 Core edition. Insane much?
I wish I had that kind of money!
[Thanks, Christine!]

Nintendo Sales Down 21%

Gamasutra is reporting that Nintendo’s profits have fallen a staggering 21%. The reason? Drop in sales for the GameCube - which to me, isn’t at all surprising, all things considered. So, Nintendo is lowering its sales expectations for both the GameCube and the Nintendo DS, by 400,000 and .4 million respectively.
But I wouldn’t [...]

How Revolution Will Change Games Forever

1up.com, in its infinte awesomeness, has posted a great look into the Nintendo Revolution controller. They talked with several game developers from around the gameosphere to determine the full potential of the Revolution controller, as well as question its limitations. Taking some of the concepts from Nintendo’s Tokyo Game Show video, they ask the developers [...]

Happy Turkey Day

Happy Thanksgiving to those who are celebrating it today. I, unfortunately, don’t get to celebrate it, because I didn’t manage to convince France to give me an honorary two days off from class. They’re mean that way. So, not only did I have 5 hours of French class today, but I have another 5 [...]

Microsoft Replies to Xbox 360 Issues

Microsoft representatives got around to defending themselves to Next Generation about the reported overheating issues with the Xbox 360. The quote reads a little bit like, “OMG! Like, mostly every1 <3’s the Xbox 360. It’s only like a few people with problems. It’s not like ALL of them are having trouble, and it’s not [...]

You Too Can Help Save KQIX

This is an urgent request by your beloved cranky editor:
There is a game out there…cold, lonely, scared…cast off from the development family that once so tenderly saw to its needs and thrown into the junk heap amongst the failures and the could-have-beens. It does not belong here, O fellow gamers! It deserves a [...]

Japanese Shafted by XBox 360

The Japanese are just getting royally shafted by the XBox 360 team. And here I thought Microsoft was trying to make more of an effort to break into the market in the tech obsessed country, where Sony and Nintendo reign supreme. “Trying” apparently means making themselves as unattractive as possible and hoping that [...]

Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars

Astraware has just released their new portable game, Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars, which is based on the original PlayStation and PC versions of Broken Sword. I don’t know about you, but to me, this game sounds like a lot of fun. Though, admittedly, I am a fan of the subject matter (Foucault’s Pendulum [...]

Xbox 360ºF

Next Generation is reporting that the Xbox 360 may already be showing bad signs. Forum users are complaining of overheating problems with the 360 console. The problems have been reported to Microsoft, but speedy as always, Mr. Gates’ people have gotten around to revealing the problems, but not suggesting solutions. Most likely, those with [...]

How Much Would You Pay for an Xbox 360?

Okay, so you’d like an Xbox 360. But would you love an Xbox 360? Are you so incredibly desperate to get your hands on this piece of machinery, that you would pay $3,050.00?
On eBay, someone does want an Xbox 360 that badly.
I really hope it’s worth it for them. Crazies.
And unfortunately, due to the [...]
