WoW Your Friends At Hallowe’en

It’s funny the things that you can find on eBay. I now no longer have to worry about finding a costume for Hallowe’en. I do, however, have to come up with a coherent way to tell my friends, who are non-gamers, why the hell I’m dressed like a skanky Lord of the Rings […]

Rumor Mill: $100 Xbox 360 Price Cut

Word on the street (and by street, I mean the Internet - who ever goes outside anymore?) has it that Microsoft will be slashing the Xbox 360 price by up to $100. Due to some price negotiations between the big M and their manufacturers, cheaper parts could make it all possible.

French Saint To Invade Tokyo

I don’t know if it was Leelee Sobieski’s brooding wails, Milla Jovovich’s psychotically awful presentation, or the incomprehensibly smug nature of the french catholic schoolgirls at the aptly named school in my hometown, but the topic of Jeanne d’Arc has always been one of personal interest. Joan of Arc, to us Engrish speakers, was […]

Alfin! WoW En Español!

At long last, World of Warcraft will be hitting the shelves in my native language of español, making it the fourth language the game is available in. What took Blizzard so long? Hmm.. I wonder if they’ll hire me. I wouldn’t mind being a game master…muahahaha…
I’ll keep dreaming.
In the meantime, look for the game to […]

Wii Will Launch With 1 Million Units in North America

Nintendo Canada Vice President and General Manager, Rob Bertram, stated that the Wii will launch with 1 million units available on November 19th. By comparison, the PS3 will launch with 400,000.
Guess we won’t be seeing the Wii for $3,000 on eBay. I think one million units is a healthy amount. Should be interesting to […]
