Guitar Peripheral Battle Heats Up

Sue, sue and sue alike. It seems like only when something becomes wildly popular to entities ever give the faintest crap about who invented what first, and who actually clutches the patent rights to the prized item in their stony, clenching hand.
The Ant Commandos (TAC) have now filed a countersuit to the [...]

PS3 Price Cut: Now $410 in Japan

Sony Corporation has announced a price cut for its yet to be released console, PlayStation 3 - much to the disappointment and chagrin of Microsoft, I imagine. The basic PS3 model will go from 59,800 yen ($515) down to 47,600 ($410).
SCE President Ken Kutaragi revealed that the price cut was due to consumer complaints that [...]

Wii Rumors: Grand Theft Auto?

Nintendo has revealed that they’re in contact with publisher Take Two to see what kind of trouble they can get into together. Apparently, the Wii won’t be shying away from M-rated content, so it is very possible that GTA will be showing up with a Nintendo logo on it.
*sniff* Our Nintendo is all grown up [...]

Kotaku has served up a nice clip of the Xbox 360 HD-DVD. It’s not edge-of-your-seat thrilling, but it’s pretty cool for those who are curious to see what’s in store.

Wii, Wii, Wii

So, it seems both Erin and I were Internet-less when the news of the Wii launch hit the news waves (dang it), but if you’ve not heard it yet (and I can’t see how you haven’t) the Wii will be launching November 19th in the US, and December 8th for Japan and me (Europe).

The One Where My PS2 Gets Stolen

It seems I’m incapable of traveling without getting something stolen. In Lisbon, it was my wallet. In the good ol’ US of A, it was my PS2, along with my mics and all my SingStars.
Needless to say I’m pissed. I’d just purchased the SingStar Anthems in London, too. Blah.
My own fault for trying to bring [...]
