Console games don’t interest me but I would come back here to read more about women in game design.
Also, I was watching a show (Electric Playground) where there actually is one woman on the show now but the guys were saying how no one cares about the storyline behind the game and they just skip to the action. That’s maybe true for guys (kind of dull of them, but true). I LIKE having a storyline. When there isn’t one I create my own.
There are few games I really enjoy playing, the fighting and shooting types are kind of boring. I like something that has more to offer. My favourites are city building and strategy type games that have more than just shoot here to them. I also like Carmageddon but that’s stress relief.
Anyway, wandered into your blog today and added it to the Women Gamers category at Dmoz. Hope you get a lot of readers. I liked the interviews.

Special post but it’ll be better if I can see more gers in WCG tournaments. The last WCG in Singapore, there was only 1 woman participant.
But she did make many frens there. Lol.

Hehe, couldn’t agree more Laura, if a game is without a story (which is being played out, because most games have some kind of story) I could might aswell just go out at smash garden gnomes with a hammer, and I’d get more exercise too… new sport? :)
