4D Sound Technology Coming Soon
Diesel Games has announced a deal with GenAudio to start work ona new project for PC and Xbox 360. The project? An FPS game featuring AstoundSound, 4D sound technology, considered to be “the best multidimensional sound system available today.”
“Diesel Games has been working with GenAudio in an advisory roll over the last year to help develop the Real-Time Interface for AstoundSound. Diesel has been instrumental in our understanding of the video game industry and they continue to impress us with their technical insight. We look forward to working together in this new capacity,” said Jerry Mahabub, CEO and President of GenAudio.
Pretty awesome. The horror FPS game has no current release date, but is in the works. No word yet on whether or not it will extend into the PS3 arena.

I have always thought the 4th dimension was ‘time’ - so how will this work then?
