Also Coming To A PSP Near You

Amidst all the next-gen hype I would just like to say that I will always retain a soft spot in my heart for classic games, which is why the news that Capcom will be releasing a classic gaming collection for the PSP makes me smile.
The 20 game collection has been touched up for the portable world to include multiplayer support, remixed (hopefully this doesn’t mean completely new) music, customizable controls and aspect ratio options. Some games tipped for the collection include: 1941 (YES!), Avengers, Block Block, Captain Commando, Magic Sword, Quiz and Dragons, Street Fighter (DOUBLE YES!), Strider, Three Wonders, Varth, Speed Rumbler.
I loves me some Street Fighter and am thrilled that Capcom saw fit to include the original (humorously bad) game in the collection. To make me even happier, they’re also bringing out Street Fighter Alpha 3 for the PSP. It’ll have real-time battles and a WiFi Battle League mode that will allow you to beat the living snot out of seven of your closest friends. Alpha 3 is due to hit North America in February and the Classic Collection should hit shelves in March.
