Australian DS Goes Pink
If you’ve been waiting for the pink Nintendo DS Lite in Australia, your patience will soon be rewarded. Nintendo will be releasing the pink portable console on November 2nd for $199.95.
Just in time, too, because it just so happens that the new Nintendogs is also coming out around the same time.
I really like this quote:
“A Pink Nintendo DS and a new Dalmatian version of nintendogs is a powerful combination in the lead-up to Christmas,” explains Rose Lappin, Director of Sales and Marketing. “It really demonstrates Nintendo’s commitment to expanding the gaming market and attracting non-traditional audiences to experience the magic for themselves.”
Hahaha, “non-traditional audiences.” Why not just go ahead and say “girls”?
Wonder if they’ll release pink Wiis too? Those non-traditional audiences are apparently very color biased.
