Be Mine, Halo 3 Style
As both a nerd and a sappy romantic at heart, this is a proposal that earned Halo 3 player Moviesign +5 Mojo, +10 Creativity, and +1 very special someone.
Telling his girlfriend furtivepenguin that he had lined up some multiplayer action on a custom map, this intrepid Romeo led his lady love over hill and dale to a location that he said housed a hidden energy sword (ladies…haven`t we all heard the old ‘energy sword’ line…? No? Just me?). When they arrived, she was greeted by a message, spelled out in weapons, of “Marry Me?”.
Naturally, being unable to refuse such a perfectly precious proposal, furtivepenguin said yes and the two lovebirds are now happily engaged. Any chap with the patience to build a custom map for the sole purpose of popping the question gets two big thumbs up. Proof that geeks can tell the difference between flare and flair, and that romance is alive and well.
