Buttkicker Gamer

Hm. Well, if you’re a fan of … er … vibrations … then your days of playing video games while sitting on the washing machine are over. Enter: The Buttkicker Gamer (that doesn’t really roll off the tongue, does it?) This new innovation by The Guitammer Company Inc. adds a new buzz to your gaming experience.
The gadget, which costs $170, clamps down to your chair, and shakes when the game emits low bass audio frequencies. The point? To create a more realistic feel for gaming. And so far, it seems to be doing its job.
The Buttkicker Gamer has been getting some excellent reviews all over the place. In fact, it was the winner of the 2005 CES Innovation Award, and was named a “Must Have” product by TechLiving.

Huh. I’m a drummer and we have the same thing for drums. Likely the exact same technology. Very cool idea to port it to gaming!

[…] This sort of reminds me of the Buttkicker Gamer I posted about once upon a time. Vibrating seems quite popular these days. […]
