Call for Heroes: Pampolic Wars Coming to Wii

by Ingrid on May 4th, 2007

Deign Interactive have gotten the rights to the PC 3D RPG game, Call of Heroes: Pampolic Wars, and have begun developing a Wii version.

Stewart Green MD of Data Design Interactive, said: “This is already a great game on PC, which is greatly improved with the extensive use of the Wii controllers, to make the player immerse into the magic casting and weapon wielding adventure. We are excited to bring this new genre onto the Wii console.”

About the game:

This is a third-person action game with RPG elements placed in a fantasy world for the PC and Nintendo Wii. The game is divided into 15 maps that range from mysterious environments to the grass strewn plains and dark dungeons. The player can choose between 2 characters, each with unique weapons and special abilities. Whichever character is chosen, there will be constant action with hordes of monsters. There are 18 types of monsters, and at the end of the game the boss awaits the player.

The game uses the latest lighting and shadowing techniques, including real-time shadows, DOT3 bump mapping, water reflections, particle systems and more. Monsters also have advanced bump-mapping and lighting models including specular lighting.
