CoD2 Hearts NVIDIA
Ah, gotta love genius marketing ploys. It looks like NVIDIA has been granted the highly coveted bundling rights to the much-anticipated WWII game Call of Duty 2. Those ATI guys are slacking! Good for NVIDIA, though. This is quite the achievement. I really hope ATI comes out with some brilliant marketing scheme soon, or I might end up straying next time I upgrade graphics cards.
Under the agreement, NVIDIA is granted exclusive bundling rights to Call of Duty 2, making partners of NVIDIA the only source to get Call of Duty 2 outside of a stand-alone purchase of the game in retail. NVIDIA bundles will occur simultaneously with the retail launch of Call of Duty 2. NVIDIA and Activision will also participate in joint advertising and various promotional activities through the holiday selling season to make consumers aware that NVIDIA is the preferred GPU from Call of Duty 2.
