DJ Oakenfold To Score Bourne Conspiracy
Not too long ago, I popped up a quick video of the trailer for the upcoming Bourne Conspiracy game. I wasn’t too fond of the graphic quality but it looks like the developers are beefing up the credibility by signing on some big league names in other areas.
The score in particular has gotten a boost thanks to superstar DJ Paul Oakenfold will be in charge of recreating the atmosphere and charge of the books and movies through the music in the game. Oakenfold agreed to the project in part because he’s a fan of the Bourne series itself, and also because “the pace of the game is an ideal match for my musical tempo and style.”
Selections from the score were performed by Oakenfold in a live concert called “The Bourne Session” this evening and if you’re lucky, there may be posted highlights on the site that held the live streamed event.
