For the ‘Core III: Life-Sized Master Chief

by Erin on October 3rd, 2005

Master Chief

Buying gaming memoribilia that will never fit into any decorating scheme known to man is a sure way to piss off your partner/mother/room mate, but sometimes you just can’t help yourself with a life-sized statue of Halo’s armoured hunk, Master Chief.

The Entertainment Software Association (ESA), through it’s charitable organisation the ESA Foundation, is offering a 6-foot likeness of big ole MC, and many other goodies, as part of a series of online eBay auctions to benefit children’s charities. The auctions over start up from October 11th and run until the 18th, and include rare games and games and memoribilia. Over the years the ESA Foundation has donated over $6 million towards similar charities, coming from previous online auctions and the accompanying $500/plate dinner.

Some other items up for grabs are tickets to E3Expo private parties, a personal tour of Nintendo of America, and a PS2 autographed by the entire cast of the hit TV show Alias.
