GameStop Yet to Receive 30% of Xbox 360 Pre-Orders

Next Generation is reporting that GameStop has only managed to deliver on 70% of its Xbox 360 pre-orders. It’s been what? Like two months?
This is what Next Generation has to say on the subject:
According to consumer site Gamespot, the company has issued an internal memo stating that 70% of pre-orders have been completed, and that the remainder should be cleared some time in February.
According to the report, these figures do not include those taken online, or those received through the now-purchased chain EB.
The shortages are now easing slightly on the $299 model of th machine, but the $399 model is still extremely difficult to find. GameStop’s troubles are undoubtedly repeated across the retail community.
The ever-elusive console is still available at your nearest eBay, for about a billion dollars. Give or take.
