GameTap

It seems the online gaming arena is expanding just a little bit further. The GameTap Entertainment Broadband Network is coming to a computer near you in the very near future.
From the site:
“GameTap is a new world of video games.
Download it to your broadband PC, then access hundreds of the greatest games from the greatest systems. Original arcade, console and PC titles from every era of gaming.
Start with a FREE TRIAL, then get unlimited access for a low monthly fee. Stay tuned, GameTap is about to arrive.”
And there you have it. Pay a monthly fee of $15, and have access to pretty much any game you want. But that’s not all. No, no. GameTap is not only about games. They will have their own programming, which “will feature an exclusive mix of magazine, reality, and lifestyle shows, interviews with the who’s who of gaming, celebrity features, and all-new ‘game trailers’ for the GameTap service.”
Excited yet? I know I am! Who’s to say if it will be all of the things it promises, but I’m sure many anxious gamers will be flooding the doors on opening day just to find out.

They offer a one month free trial in which you’ll have access to all the games! They promise that you can “bail out” any time you want. […]
