Girlz 0f Destruction and the Home of Chrome
VIA Technologies has recently created what is being called “the world’s first academy for competitive PC gaming” after its recent launch of the girlz 0f destruction gaming house in Sweden. The gaming house has been dubbed “Home of Chrome” and titled after the hi-def Chrome computer hardware that E3 Graphics and VIA have provided the girlz.
The Home of Chrome is intended to be a training ground for the girlz 0f destruction, by providing them with an “ideal gaming environment” in which to hone their superior gaming skillz.
The girlz 0f destruction is an all-girls team of 7 international members who are regarded as “the highest level professional female Quake 4 players” in the world. They describe themselves thusly: “girlz 0f destruction is an all female computer gaming team, with an international member base. We play a variety of games induvidually and as a team.”
Of the 7 members, presently only four reside at the Home of Chrome. The girlz train an average of 5 hours per day.
You can stalk them accordingly at the Home of Chrome site which syndicates the feeds to their individual blogs.
I’m waiting for MTV to turn this into a reality show. “This is the true story … of 7 hardcore gamer chicks … picked to live in a house … by their awesome Quake skills … ”
Mm. I’d watch.
