Guild Wars Nightfall PvP Preview Event
Since our resident Guild Wars addict has run off with Fabio (again), I felt it my duty to ‘represent’ on her behalf.
Behold: Guild Wars Nightfall PvP Preview is coming to a computer (with Internet access) near you on July 28th, 29th, and 30th.
What ever does this mean?
During the above-stated days owners of both GW Prophesies and GW Factions will have the following options available:
(Note that GW does not stand for George W. but rather the more relevant Guild Wars).
- Create new PVP characters using the upcoming Dervish and Paragon professions.
- Test out both classes’ exciting new skills in both beta-exclusive preview arenas and current battle arenas.
- Compete against other players in special PvP tasks to gain items that will be exchangeable for a variety of rewards throughout the weekend event.

I was just playing Factions yesterday and love the Asian feel of it, though it does seem that a lot of the critters were just minorly altered and given new names (ie. there’s a good deal of recycling).
I’d like to see if NightFall makes a better break and comes up with something really original.
