IGDA Rewards Industry Talent
The gaming industry, just like all forms of entertainment, has taken a rather large shine to the spectacle of the awards ceremonies. With highly respected sources such as Spike TV and G4 eager to pin medals on the chests of the most deserving recipients (yes, that is sarcasm) from an outsider’s perspective, the International Game Developers’ Association has released it’s own list of candidates for insider awards.
The winners will be declared at next month’s Game Developer’s Conference in San Jose, after selection and voting by game developers themselves. God of War tops the nomination heap with an impressive six nods, while Shadow of the Colossus lurks close behind with five.
