Japan Lowers Price on Xbox 360

Is it wrong to laugh when so many of my fellow countrymen and women (both in the US and now France) are longing for their Xbox 360s, and Japan retailers reveal that they don’t know what to do with their surplus? Oh well. HAHA!
So, according to Kotaku, Japanese retailers are now stuck with a bunch of Xbox 360s. The Japanese aren’t buying them, and they can’t be returned to Microsoft (Bill Gates doesn’t want them either). What are they to do? Lower the price, of course. Instead of selling them for their retail price of 18,000 yen ($350), they’re now being sold for 8,000 yen ($150).
This after less than a week on the market.
Sony Entertainment, amidst random bouts of laughter says, “Pwned.”

Well, by the time you pay all the extra to get the thing imported, you might as well have spent about $200-$250 on it here (should there have been any left to buy here). Would be worth it tho, if you were desperate enough :P

Bugger - who do I know in Japan? Wonder what the shipping rate is to Australia? How much do you think I can sell them for on eBay here?
