Life With PlayStation Released
The PlayStation 3 now has a news and weather service courtesy of Sony’s “Life with PlayStation,” which has now been released over the PlayStation Network to PS3 owners in an effort to compete with Nintendo’s Wii Channels.
Dubbed a “lifestyle service”, Life With PlayStation delivers streaming weather reports from The Weather Channel with realistic cloud imagery provided by University of Wisconsin-Madison Space Science and Engineering Center and news via Google News displayed on a Google Earth-esque world satellite imagery from The Earth Television Network. Over 60 cities around the world will be covered by these information services.
Now you won’t even have to look outside to see what the weather is like.
