Mac Bound At Last
I’ve finally gone and done it. Well gone and decided to do it actually. My laptop is dying a slow and painful death consisting of random turn offs in the midst of a record-breaking kill/death ratio in Call of Duty — clearly this is unacceptable. So I began shopping for a new system. Not a state of the art gaming rig by any means, but something that would provide me with the new media flexibility and still allow me to enjoy a fragfest now and again.
So I’ve decided to buy a Mac.
Yes, that’s correct, I’ve gone over to the darkside of computing, away from 20 years with the portly boring nerd and onto a hot, tempestuous affair with the cool indie kid of Mac. I feel a little guilty really, but I’ve been stealing moments on a friend’s G5 at work and I just can’t help it. The damn thing is hot, and frankly I’m due for a raucous new affair with technology.
Will it affect my gaming? Nahhhhh… Mac OS X isn’t exactly suffering from a dearth of blood and guts. Call of Duty is still available. I’m happy. Not to mention the fact that when the new iteration of OS X, code-named “Leopard” claws its way into the marketplace this fall, I’m going to snap it up, maximize my little Dual Core and possibily boot both Leopard and Windows.
Exciting times!

Oh joy. ;)
I’d be willing to give it a shot, maybe with the Lich King expansion. And yes, you can finally hold me to that.
