Microsoft Replies to Xbox 360 Issues
Microsoft representatives got around to defending themselves to Next Generation about the reported overheating issues with the Xbox 360. The quote reads a little bit like, “OMG! Like, mostly every1 <3’s the Xbox 360. It’s only like a few people with problems. It’s not like ALL of them are having trouble, and it’s not like ALL the consoles are overheating. Why u have to make such a big deal about it? We’re dealing with the totally unique and individual problems all speedy-like, cuz we <3 our costumers.”
Well, I should hope that not all of the consoles are experiencing technical difficulties, or else Microsoft would have itself a merry little catastrophe on its hands.
Regardless, Microsoft wants you all to buy with confidence, because in the end, it’s only a “small fraction” of consoles experiencing problems, when compared to “the total number of Xbox 360 systems already in the field.” And that is, of course, quite comforting.
Hm, considering the shortage, I wonder how long before Microsoft replaces a terminably ill console?
