MMORPG Coming to Xbox 360
MMO’s aren’t just for the PC anymore. Video Games developer Square Enix has recently revealed that they’re working on an MMORPG for the Xbox 360 console.
Hiromichi Tanaka, Square Enix’s producer, also hinted at the possibility of a PS3 MMORPG in the future, though it doesn’t seem like anything is yet in the works. I’d say it’s actually more probable that the MMO - whatever it may be - is likely to stay on the Xbox 360.
So what game could it possibly be? Mmm. No idea. Of course, Tanaka is also the executive producer/director of the Nintendo DS version of FFIII, but I think it’s unlikely that we’ll be seeing a Final Fantasy-based MMO on the Xbox 360.
Or will we?
Guess we’ll have to wait and see…

Huxley also has plans to be released on the major consoles as well. Though that one is an MMOFPS.
What bugs me about the possibilty of MMO’s on something like the 360 is that a lot of people are already paying monthly for an Xbox Live Gold account for the priviledge of being able to compete online, and now you throw in an MMO with a monthly fee and gamers are gonna be hearing crickets from their bank accounts.

jesus christ you moaning gits… you dont pay monthly for XBL… its $50 per YEAR! which if it was paid monthly then it would be like $4, oh WOW!! thats toooo much… now lets see, if you want to play the likes of EQ2, you need broadband which will run what? 70 a month.. then you got to pay sony a minimum of 15 a month to play the game, thats 85 bucks a month to play that 1 game.. but on consoles the monthly fee is usually less than half the fee you pay these others, so whats the big deal??
