NCSoft Apprenticeship in Video Game Testing
Along with the City College Brighton, PartnerTrans and Skillset, NCSoft is working to launch an Apprenticeship in Quality Assurance and Game Production.
“Skillset’s Apprenticeship in QA and Games Production is a key part of the Computer Games Industry’s skills strategy. It offers a structured entry point outside of the games industry’s traditional academic routes. The apprenticeship is led and delivered by the games industry, with the trainee spending the majority of the time with a company being mentored by an experienced practitioner,” said Chris Chilton, Computer Games & Animation Manager at Skillset.
If all goes well, it’s possible that other developers will follow NCSoft’s lead. So far, the trainees said they’re enjoying themselves.
I wouldn’t mind that gig!

I am looking for an Apprenticeship in Video Game
Testing, & would like to get the opportunity to
start with some of the best Video Game
Developers, such as Midway, and Sega. Any help
on where I can apply for opportunities such as
this would be appreciated.
