Nintendo Dominates Japanese Gaming Market
Japanese hardware sales for last week show that Nintendo is dominating the gaming hardware market. Nintendo DS sales rose to 110,935, with the Wii sales also rising to 52,583. Total in Japan, about 2 million Wiis have been sold.
The PS3 is trailing behind (only 14,520 sales), though the PSP continues to do well. Not as well as Nintendo, but well enough with sales of 31,503. Xbox 360 sales were pretty sad though. Only 2,963 were sold last week.
