Nintendo Still Dominating Gaming Sales in June
The NPD has released U.S. June sales for the video game industry, and Nintendo is still at the top, having sold nearly 562,000 Nintendo DS units during the June month alone.
The next big seller was again a Nintendo favorite, the loveable (but somewhat hazardous) Wii. Delivered units totaled 381.8K.
Next was Sony’s PSP at 290.1K (quite the jump from Nintendo’s 562,000.)
The Xbox 360 is beating the PS3, however with 198.4K to 98.5K.
Well one thing’s for sure, the video game market isn’t slowing down any time soon. Can’t wait to see what the numbers jump to once we hit the Holiday season.
