Nissan Builds In An XBox
I’ll take “really frickin’ stupid idea” for $400 Alex…
You know I always thought that cell phones and lipstick were the two deadliest non-native additions to vehicles. Drivers get distracted trying to sell their tumbling stock, screaming at their broker and swerving dangerously from side-to-side, while women out for a hot date feel the urge to reapply and free their hands up by steering with their knees…but I think that Nissan has out done them both here.
They’ve decided to make a car with a built-in XBox 360 on the passenger’s side, and to model the front seats after those in fancy schmancy cockpits. Why? So that the passenger can play Need For Speed and pretend they’re at the wheel. The driver? Well they’re supposed to refrain from taking peeks at the on screen action. Right. Like that’s going to work.
Watch for it to make an appearance at at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 9.
