Pandemic and BioWare Merge

Game developing companies Pandemic and BioWare have struck a merger deal that is said to be worth about $300 million. They are uniting in holy matri- money, and will be known, henceforth as Mr. and Mr. Bioware/Pandemic. Why not PanWare or Biodemic? Those are far cooler.
The new super-developing company claims it has no publishing aspirations, and will continue to work alongside their usual partners to bring top of the line games to our consoles.
The men behind the merger have this to say:
Josh Resnick told consumer site Gamespot, “Some developers have chosen the path of selling to publishers and that’s a viable path. We have specifically chosen not to go down that route because it was important for us to maintain our independence. You know we really look for inspiration in companies like Pixar, because they’re able to remain independent from distribution partners and increase their focus on creating great products.”
Ray Muzyka added, “Our publishing partners might feel threatened by something like this, but we absolutely see the reverse. We really do look at this new venture as a means to improve our ability to deliver a great product, and that’s always good for our publishing partners.”
Well, congratulations to all. May they live happily ever after.

I’m personally in favor of Biodemic. Panware sounds like a company that sells kitchen things.
Actually two rather decent companies with a few good games between them. Hopefully this merger will make some really great babies…err..games.
