PlayStation 3 Controller: SIXAXIS
Well, it’s official, the PS3 controller has been baptised with a name, and that name is SIXAXIS, which is not as easy to make fun of as the Wii, but also lacks the simplicity of name.
Will people actually call it by name? “I would like to buy the SIXAXIS.” Or simply say, “I’d like an extra PS3 controller.”
Whatever.
It’s official, and now you know it. This little gadget, though, will be Bluetooth and USB enabled, and come bundled with the PS3. You can also buy it seperately for $43 beginning November 11th.
Other interesting tidbits on this controller include: wire to wireless switch off (via USB), and up to 30 hours of wireless gameplay.
Welcome to the world, SIXAXIS. It’s probably the last time I’ll call you that.
