Possible WoW for Xbox Live?

by Ingrid on October 27th, 2005

Gaming Steve posed a couple of interesting questions on one of his posts yesterday: “Why is the Manager of Xbox Live Arcade attending BlizzCon? Is he there just to hang out and play World of Warcraft with the masses or is he going to be announcing something?”

Could it be that they will announce World of Warcraft for Xbox Live? Or are they there simply to show off the 360 vesion of StarCraft: Ghost? Hmm.

Making an Xbox 360 version of WoW would be a bright move for of all involved. It might give WoW fans an added incentive to purchase a 360, and it might bring in those WoW-curious people whose computers just can’t handle the game. WoW is by far the most popular MMORPG out there, and Microsoft would be wise to adopt it. But will they?

We inch ever closer to finding out the many mysteries kept by our beloved Blizzard peeps. Psychic powers would be of great use right about now.

Dun dun dunnnnn… Today’s the big day for the announcement. Which I’m eargerly awaiting. The possibility of WoW on a console, even the 360, is the most exciting rumor I’ve heard of late. Here’s to hoping.

And hoping more, because it would suck to have to own 2 consoles to be able to play with my SO if the game came out as a 1-player ;)
