Queen E Rocks The Wii
It’s hard not to like a monarch that, at age 81, can still get down and dirty for some family time with techie princes Harry and William. Apparently William received a Wii for Christmas from his girlfriend (and British tabloid favourite) Kate Middleton and he was goofing around with it in Sandringham Palace when it caught the Queen’s interest. Soon enough she was ripping up the lanes playing ten pin bowling and poor William has had a hard time getting in any playing time.
British rag The People quoted a Palace source as saying:
It was hilarious. William was in fits of laughter. He was enormously impressed at having such a cool gran. And although she is 81, the Queen’s hand-eye co-ordination was as good as somebody half her age…
[Prince William’s] only difficulty now is prising it away from the Queen’s clutches. She showed all the signs of becoming a Nintendo addict.
