Review in a Flash

About.com, home of sometimes useful information about pretty much everything, has begun producing video game reviews that combine in-game video footage with little pop-up bubbled that details the pros and (mostly) cons of that particular title. Called Reviews in a Flash, the feature allows gamers to watch reviews of games and see first-hand the problems that the reviewer has picked out. The two that they have up there are bang-on, at least for Lockdown which is, in my opinion, an absolute embarrassment to the grand tradition of Tom Clancy games.
Hopefully they’ll be expanding the Reviews in a Flash selection and include some platforms other than the Nintendo Gamecube. They need to make a whole, whole lot more of these. I can see myself becoming addicted to watching them, kind of like how I used to sit through really bad pop music videos from the 80’s during Pop-Up Video just to see the trivia and commentary bubbles.
