Rumor: Microsoft To Compesate Xbox Live Gold Members

Xbox Live was a bit of a hit or miss this past holiday season, leaving impatient players unable to log in and play their favorite games. The issues extended into account problems, which meant players couldn’t even access their information. In extreme cases, single player games that utilized some Xbox Live functions were also unavailable.
Not much of a Happy Holidays from Microsoft.
That said, the MS folks claim to be hard at work trying to keep customer’s happy by fixing errors left and right, and now some rumors are circulating the Internets that Microsoft might even be compensating their Xbox Live Gold members for their unhappy times over the past week. In what way, shape, or form this compensation might come is a big question mark as it’s entirely undetermined whether the rumors are true or not, but hopefully Microsoft will give a little something back for all that lost time.
