Same Sad Tune For Bioshock’s Hero
What happens when a well-known Second Life singer takes acclaimed shooter Bioshock, examines the complicated nature of personal relationships, and tosses in some machinima for good measure? You get Keiko Takamura’s Same Sad Tune, written about the muddled cooperation that exists between Bioshock’s protagonist and his sometimes helper Atlas, and also reflecting her real-life relationships.
Ignoring the fact that the video is a rather poorly done mash-up of real life and Second Life scenes, the lyrics of the song should bring back some memories from both the victorious and painful sides of Bioshock. It was a good Sunday morning giggle.

Thank you so much for the blog! <3 Every bit of exposure helps. :)
The song was actually about this friend I had who would offer to help and then flake and then apologize and then flake ad nauseum. It’s not about my boyfriend!

Sorry Keiko! Obviously the boyfriend bit was a misread of the NWN…I’ve corrected the post.
