Second Life Brand Map
If ever you needed confirmation that Second Life was taking on a whole new look in the eyes of marketers, look no further then this “brand map” that shows the Second Life locations of some of reality’’s biggest hitters.
Marketing and branding company K Zero, through their blog written by Nic Mitham, had a dig through everyone’s favourite virtual landscape to try and map all of the real life corporate entities that they could. No small endeavour of course, and I’m sure that there are some vitual HQs that are missing simply due to the ambitiousness of the mapping project.
Completeness aside, it’s still very interesting to see which companies have latched onto Second Life as another avenue to reach consumers, and also, for those of you with avatars at the ready, to have the opportunity to visit these spots now that you know where they are.
