Stuart Little 3: Big Photo Adventure

by Erin on October 12th, 2005

Stuart Little 3

Oh my goodness…he’s so cute. But then again, I am partial to suave little rodents who drive convertibles and risk life and limb to rescue their lady friend.

I just got finished scanning through some screenshots for Stuart Little 3: Big Photo Adventure and there’s something about his big teddy bear ears that is absolutely irresistible. This little dynamo drives tanks, cars, flies planes, and finishes the day off with a rousing round of mini-golf. What more could you possibly ask for?

Well for one the gameplay images are a little disappointing. The curse of the chunky blocking strikes again and the areas where textural panels meet and colours change are abrupt and clearly visible. I would think with the number of colours available and the calibre of graphics available today, a more realistic environment would be possible and better rendering of characterss would prevail. That aside though (it seems unfair to punish this game for a short-coming of many), Magenta Software seems to have done an okay job of bringing the little guy onto our tv screens. I’d sure play it, more out of attachment to the movies though, can’t say I’d be interested in the game otherwise.

Join Stuart Little on his biggest and greatest adventure yet! Stuart has ruined George’s school photography project after crashing his bi-plane into the bedroom fish tank. Now, armed with his trusty camera and with help from Snowbell, Margalo and all his school-friends, Stuart must recreate the photos or George will fail for sure…

* Explore the Big Apple using land, sea and air vehicles
* Jump, grind and do tricks on your BMX bike and your skateboard
* Change Stuart’s costume to gain new powers and special abilities
* Race, chase, help out your friends and even relax with a game of golf

Ever wondered what it would be like to be six inches tall? Try looking at the world from Stuart’s perspective. You’ll have to excuse a bit of a girly moment but he’s just…adorable. And I want to squeeze him.

Can I ask… have you played the game. From reading your `review` I get the feeling you havent and are judging it from the screen shots? Hmmmm, girls eh :-)

    Stuart is definitely da mouze!

And no Jaffa, unfortunately I haven’t played the game, which is why I didn’t title the post a review. I didn’t mean to judge either. I would definitely play it because I do like Stuart Little, but I was a little disappointed by the quality of the screenshots. I wouldn’t rule it out until I gave it a try.

    Girls eh? You bet.
