The Gamerhood: Games for your Mac
Mac gamers behold: Aspyr is bringing the power of downloadable games to an Apple near you. Enter: The Gamerhood. The new service will allow Mac users the power to purchase games and download them online, play the games without the need for pesky disks, check and compare your computer’s compatibility with that of the game’s requirements, be alerted to new updates, new games, and new projects.
The Gamerhood is set for a fall 2006 release so if you’re a Mac user with a penchant for gaming, it might be worth it to check out this service. And if someone does, please let me know if it’s worth it. I don’t have a Mac but there are days when I want to do a switcheroo.
Although, with Vista in the horizon, I doubt it will be any time soon…
