Wii Warning: Wii Might Make You Sore
The Wii is coming out here in la France next week, and I’m still pondering whether or not to invite one into my home. For a long time I felt the Wii was a Must Have. These days, my preference is with the PS3. Just the other day I broke down and bought another PS2 to replace the one that got stolen a couple of months ago (because no PS3 for me until March).
But the Wii…
Hm.
Maybe once I move into a bigger apartment. I don’t think I have enough room to even play the sporty-type Wii games.
Alas, others who don’t have the space problem have other problems to contend with: soreness. Apparently, Nintendo figured that players would foresee that moving around with the Wii games meant … you know … moving around. Players across the nation are finding out just how out of shape they are as they attempt to keep up with other out-of-shape players.
Soreness seems to be the major side-effect to the Wii.
Nintendo says, “If people are finding themselves sore, they may need to exercise more.”
Can anyone else hear the implied “duh” at the end of that statement?
Nintendo should’ve come up with a conditioning program to prepare players for the Wii release.
I’m going to go do some sit-ups. Just in case I do end up with a Wii I want to be ready.
