Wii Will Launch With 1 Million Units in North America
Nintendo Canada Vice President and General Manager, Rob Bertram, stated that the Wii will launch with 1 million units available on November 19th. By comparison, the PS3 will launch with 400,000.
Guess we won’t be seeing the Wii for $3,000 on eBay. I think one million units is a healthy amount. Should be interesting to see how many of those 1 million fly off the shelf in the first week.
Hopefully, Nintendo hasn’t overestimated its Wii console’s popularity.
