WITI To Sponsor PMS Clan

Laugh all you want, but the gaming women of the PMS clan will just smile and proceed to hand you your rear end. They are, in my opinion, the most prominent and well known of the female gaming clans, topping even the FragDolls, whom I tend to dismiss with a derisive sniff for being the girl band of the gaming world.
The PMS clan got its start in 2002 on XBox Live! and through reputation and hard work, has seen its numbers soar to an impressive 400+ members. Like the high profile sports team that they resemble, their success as a clan has garnered the attention of sponsors seeking to raise awareness of their ventures. In particular, Women in Technology International (WITI) became interested in PMS as a result of president David Leighton sees as similar goals:
WITI’s mission is to empower women worldwide to achieve unimagined possibilities and transformations through technology, which is similar to what PMS Clan has done and continues to do. WITI believes that gaming is yet another great platform to entice girls to get them interested in technology, which is why we are excited to partner with PMS Clan. They are an inspiration to breaking the barriers for girls around the world and providing a safe haven and nurturing environment to showcase talent and competition.
Look for PMS to become the poster children for WITI, though in what capacity remains to be seen. Does anyone else find it sadly amusing that the president of an organization that seeks to “assist women in traditionally male-dominated areas of technology fields” (in the words of PMS founder Amber Dalton), is male? Hrm…

Well done to PMS but just to clarify, Frag Dolls are just as much ‘real gamers’ thank you.

PMS Clan doesn’t deserve to be sponsored. They have never won a single tournament.
Where is PMS?

Nothing wrong with girl gamers getting rewarded but they need to earn it first. In addition to that their leaders are nothing more than sexist people. That is not my idea of good role models.
Frag Dolls aren’t even real gamers, they just go to events to promote games. They are nothing more than just ugly booth babes.
