Xbox 360 100GB HDD Rumor Just a Rumor

Well, then nevermind, the Xbox 360 100GB HDD rumor turns out to be false. Not surprising, actually, since it made very little sense to begin with.
The good people of Kotaku have put this baby to rest with confirmation that Microsoft hasn’t “announced any additional hard drives for the Xbox 360 beyond the 20 GB version available today.” And it doesn’t look like Microsoft has any plans to implement any bigger hard drives any time in the near future. Probably not until they announce the Xbox 720 or whatever.
So all of the 20GB HDD owners can rest easy now. No worries.
