Xbox 360 Causes House Fire
The Xbox 360 has long been criticized for its penchant to overheat, and this week it’s being blamed for taking it a step too far. A house fire broke out in Little Rock, Arkansas, and firefighters have narrowed the source down to the Microsoft console.
The investigation has revealed that the Xbox 360’s power supply cord was “found pinched between the wall and the Xbox power brick, which tends to get very hot during extended game play.”
No one was hurt during the fire, but thousands of dollars will have to be spent to repair the damage to the house. Ouch.
