4 opinions for Xbox 360 Launch List

Wow, Quake 4. A shame I already bought and beat it for the PC. GUN sounds a bit interesting, but from the screenshots I saw, and the little spot G4 did on it, it doesn’t look like something you’d see on a next-gen console. It was released on the PS2 initially. (doing a quick google look up) What an odd game to have as a launch title. You would think that they would want to have some spectacular looking games and whatnot for a launch day, rather than stuff that’s been imported from an older (rival) system.
But instead all we get are Sports games, and stuff like this? What an extremely disappointing launch. NASA has more exciting shuttle launches than this. (Coming from someone who’s company does a lot of contract work with NASA, so you KNOW we’re inundated with that stuff daily)

Agreed, Matt. It is a pretty disappointing list. But then, I’ve always found myself a little disappointed with the Xbox titles available, and secretly pining for a PS2.
Still, I have hope that Microsoft will pop out some excellent games by the time I can afford the console (it shan’t be Nov. 22nd). Time will tell. :)

Well I was talking with a buddy at work about this and he came up with a good point that he think’s that they may be saving their “good” titles for the PS3 release. That way they can bring out the big guns and try and choke off some of Sony’s sales, or atleast overshadow it some (Say with a Halo 3 release the same day as the PS3)

That’s a very possible theory, Matt. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case.
